I started teaching at Guardian Angels School in the fall of 2021. I’m very excited to teach seventh-grade English/language arts! I love reading and writing, and I am deeply committed to the GA students, as they become experienced readers and writers themselves! I believe we are going to have a wildly productive and successful year!

I grew up in Cincinnati, but lived in Chicago for 14 years after graduating from Miami University. It was in Chicago that I earned my Masters in Teaching from National-Louis University and taught seventh-grade English/language arts in Wilmette, IL. 

I live in Hyde Park with my husband and my three children. In addition to books, book clubs, reading with my kids, and volunteering, I love art, traveling, exploring the city with my kids, and spending (most of) the summer in northern Michigan.
