Box Tops/Campbells Labels
Each year, in an effort to earn money for our school, Guardian Angels PTA participates in the Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Labels for Education programs. General Mills donates money to schools for each box top we submit. AND for each Campbell’s label we send in, the PTA receives catalog points for various products, such as playground equipment.
For every Box Top we submit we earn 10 cents. In the 2011-12 school year, we collected over 30,000 Box Tops and received checks totalling $3048.22. That is more than double the previous year – THANK YOU! Since beginning this program, GA has earned over $20,000! Campbell’s Labels for Education are collected then submitted for new playground equipment for our children.
In an effort to make these programs just as successful as in the past, we are asking all families to continue to collect Box Tops and Campbell Labels for Education throughout the year. We will again be holding monthly homeroom contests with the winner receiving cookies from the PTA. At the end of the year, we will honor the homeroom with the highest yearly total with a pizza party.
To collect Box Tops and UPC codes from Campbell’s products, please clip them and send in (any time throughout the month) to your child’s homeroom clearly marked (for homeroom credit!) on the envelope/baggie. We will also have a collection box outside the front office. They will be tallied at the end of each month, with the winners announced on Angels on Air and in the Wednesday Herald.
